چکیده
This study involved a comparative analysis in the groundwater vulnerability domain, which is crucial component of management decision support systems (DSS). was achieved by creating models that covered range algorithms from subjective to data-driven. The conducted basement complex area. Databases climatic, remote sensing, and geophysical datasets were created using varieties data acquisition techniques. included this assessment were: rainfall (R), land use (LU), bedrock topography (BT), recharge rate (Re), slope (S). determined have highest (0.78) lowest (0.01) weighted factors, respectively, entropy method. For development TOPSIS-Entropy model algorithm, weights results combined with TOPSIS outranking To generate Groundwater Vulnerability Model map area, hybrid applied griddled raster layers factors. Also, Entropy-WLA also explored used maps. produced an accuracy 70%, while 50 47%, respectively. resulting maps validated correlation technique on longitudinal conductance TOPSIS-Entropy, followed object-oriented pattern, demonstrates greater has potential provide appropriate insights alternatives decision-making field hydrology area other regions world comparable geology.

Evaluation of Groundwater Vulnerability Using Data Mining Technique in Hashtgerd Plain
Groundwater vulnerability assessment would be one of the effective informative methods to provide a basis for determining source of pollution. Vulnerability maps are employed as an important solution in order to handle entrance of pollution into the aquifers. A common way to develop groundwater vulnerability map is DRASTIC. Meanwhile, application of the method is not easy for any aquifer due to...

due to simple operation and no needs for expensive infrastructure construction to convey water from a source to farm lands, groundwater becomes the most important sources of agricultural water supply in iran. however, the contamination of aquifers is a major concern in many countries, specifically in areas without effective groundwater protection and management. therefore, groundwater vulnerabi...
متن کاملAssessing the vulnerability of groundwater sources to fecal contamination
The Honolulu Board of Water Supply (HBWS) selectively chlorinates half of its groundwater supply to provide drinking water that meets the Total Coliform Rule. The objective of this study was to determine whether the groundwater sources used by HBWS are vulnerable to contamination with fecal matter and would require routine disinfection. Larger volumes (1,000 mL) of samples from groundwater and ...

We will still need quite some time to reach a security standard of IT systems alike the standard already usual in other fields. The reason for this is that IT systems are highly complex and errors are likely to sneak in all phases of their life cycle, e.g. programming or configuration errors. As written in [And93], we may only perceive an improvement of this situation through systematic examina...
